New knife gate valve range now stocked in Ulaanbaatar

DN50 through DN600 in heavy-seat and standard configurations, held locally so a failed isolation point does not wait on an import cycle.

Knife gates are the valves nobody thinks about until one will not close. They sit in slurry, tails and dense-media duties where a partial seal is indistinguishable from a working valve — right up to the moment somebody needs a positive isolation to open a line.

We now hold DN50 to DN600 in two seat configurations. The standard seat covers general process water and light slurry. The heavy seat, which is what we specify for anything carrying solids above roughly 15 percent, uses a thicker elastomer profile and a reinforced gate that resists the deflection that causes late-life leak-by.

Why hold them here

A knife gate is not an expensive part. The expense is the six-to-ten week import cycle that sits between a failure and a replacement, during which the plant either runs with a compromised isolation or does not run at all. Holding the range locally turns a shutdown decision into a stores requisition.

Send us the tag number and line duty and we will confirm the seat specification and availability the same day.
