Five technicians certified on Roxia filter press maintenance
Factory certification completed, which means cloth changes and diaphragm work no longer wait on a visiting specialist.
Filter press maintenance sits in an awkward place. It is too specialised for a general mechanical crew to take on with confidence, and too routine to justify flying a specialist in every time. The result, on a lot of sites, is presses that run on degraded cloth for months longer than they should.
Five of our technicians have now completed factory certification with Roxia covering cloth changes, diaphragm inspection and replacement, manifold seal work, and cycle diagnostics. All five are based in Mongolia.
What it means in practice
A cloth change that previously needed to be scheduled around specialist availability can now be scheduled around the plant. That is the whole benefit, and it is a larger one than it sounds — cloth changed at the right time rather than the available time is the single biggest lever on filtration performance.
The same five technicians deliver our operator training on filtration, so the certification feeds back into what plant crews can do themselves.
